Do players need a client mod?

No. AeroMine runs entirely on the server.

Can players see different mines at the same block?

Yes. AeroMine sends the view to each player through packets while the physical arena remains shared.

Can I hot-reload the plugin?

No. Perform a controlled server restart when updating the JAR.
